Job summary

Brighter Signals in Sydney is seeking a Bids & Contracts Specialist to support tender submissions and contract management across Australia & New Zealand. Working closely with the Bids & Contracts Manager, you will help deliver high‑quality, compliant responses and manage public and private sector tenders with precision and pace.

The role requires a degree and a minimum of 3 years’ tendering and contracts experience, ideally within medical devices or a similarly complex environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified with minimum 3 years’ tendering and contracts management experience.
  • Experience in a large, complex organisation within medical devices is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisation, project management and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage complexities and work well under pressure.

The Opportunity

A newly created role to support our continued growth, an opportunity is now available for a Bids & Contracts Specialist to join our team in Sydney. Working closely with the Bids & Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of tender submissions and contract management activities across Australia & New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation, coordination and submission of high-quality, compliant tender responses for public and private healthcare customers across Australia & New Zealand
  • Assisting in the management of public contract lifecycles, including contract awards, extensions, variations, pricing queries and contract governance activities
  • Contributing to pre-tender planning by gathering market intelligence, supporting opportunity assessments and coordinating stakeholders to position the business for success

About You
