Job summary
Johnson & Johnson are seeking a Bids & Contracts Specialist to join our MedTech team in Sydney. You will support tender submissions and contract management across Australia & New Zealand, working with the Bids & Contracts Manager to drive successful outcomes.
The role requires a degree and at least three years in tendering/contract management, with strong organisation and stakeholder engagement skills. Competitive remuneration and ongoing development are offered.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in tendering and contracts management.
- Experience in a large, complex organisation within medical devices is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, coordinate and submit high-quality tender responses across Australia & New Zealand.
- Manage public contract lifecycles including awards, extensions and variations.
- Support pre-tender planning with market intelligence and opportunity assessments.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external procurement stakeholders.
- Maintain tender and contract documentation ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

A newly created role to support our continued growth, an opportunity is now available for a Bids & Contracts Specialist to join our team in Sydney. Working closely with the Bids & Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of tender submissions and contract management activities across Australia & New Zealand.
- Supporting the preparation, coordination and submission of high-quality, compliant tender responses for public and private healthcare customers across Australia & New Zealand
- Assisting in the management of public contract lifecycles, including contract awards, extensions, variations, pricing queries and contract governance activities
- Contributing to pre-tender planning by gathering market intelligence, supporting opportunity assessments and coordinating stakeholders to position the business for success
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external healthcare procurement stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration and customer service
- Maintaining accurate tender and contract documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Degree qualified with minimum 3 years’ experience in a tendering and contracts management role, experience within a large complex organisation within medical devices is highly regarded
- Strong organisation, project management and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail
- Proactive with a consultative approach, and the capacity to engage and work with cross functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders across all levels
- Ability to multi-task, manage complexities and work well under pressure
