atWork Australia is seeking a BI professional to support the organisation's growing reporting and analytics needs, reporting to the Manager, BI and Finance. You will help increase team capacity while delivering scalable, high-quality reporting solutions.

The role focuses on migrating reporting assets from SQL Server to Databricks, designing robust data models, developing Power BI dashboards, and writing optimized SQL queries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Databricks in reporting/analytics.
• Strong Power BI dashboards, data models, and DAX.
• Solid SQL skills in SQL Server environments.
• Experience designing data models for reporting/analytics.
• Understanding BI governance and reporting standards.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of reporting assets from SQL Server to Databricks.
• Design and implement robust data models.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Refactor reports for usability, performance, governance.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and validate data.
• Build DAX measures and semantic models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights.
• Support continuous improvement across reporting, analytics and data management.
• Work to KPIs and targets in a fast-paced environment.
