BFT Geelong West is seeking a Studio Manager to own day-to-day operations, member experience, growth and culture. You will lead a high-energy team and work with owners, Head Coach and staff to ensure engagement and performance standards.
The role focuses on welcoming members, driving retention, coordinating class schedules, supporting marketing, and organising events. We value leadership, relationship-building and a proactive, accountable approach.
This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of the day-to-day running, growth, culture and overall member experience of a high-energy training studio.
As Studio Manager, you’ll be one of the main faces of BFT Geelong West. You’ll work closely with the owners, Head Coach and coaching team to ensure the studio operates at a high standard across member engagement, retention, sales, team leadership and daily operations.
This is a hands-on position for someone who loves people, enjoys leading a team and takes pride in creating an environment members genuinely want to be part of.
You’ll help drive the growth of BFT Geelong West while ensuring existing members feel known, valued and supported.
On any given day, you could be:
This role is about much more than administration.
We’re looking for someone who understands that a great gym is built through relationships, consistency, energy and attention to detail.
Previous experience within the fitness industry is highly regarded. However, leadership ability, personality and cultural fit are just as important.
We’re looking for someone who naturally connects with people.
Someone who remembers names, notices when a member hasn’t attended for a while, follows things up and genuinely cares about the experience people have inside the studio.
You’ll be comfortable holding yourself and others accountable, having honest conversations when needed and setting a strong standard for the wider team.
You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room, but you do need to be present, self-aware, consistent and willing to lead from the front.
We want someone who treats BFT Geelong West like it’s their own while understanding that they’re part of a bigger team.
We own and operate two BFT studios: BFT Geelong North and BFT Geelong West.
Although this role will be primarily based at BFT Geelong West, our studios work closely together as one team. We share ideas, support each other, collaborate on events and initiatives, and work towards creating consistently high standards across both locations.
You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive ownership team and be part of a wider BFT community that values teamwork, accountability, development and strong relationships.
BFT Geelong West is part of the Body Fit Training network, delivering science-backed group strength and conditioning programs through expert coaching, structured training and a strong community environment.
Our goal is to help members train with purpose, build confidence and achieve sustainable results in a welcoming and inclusive studio.
We believe great studios are built by great people. That means creating a team culture where coaches and staff feel supported, members feel valued and everyone is encouraged to keep improving.
If you’re an experienced leader who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a genuine impact on a business and its community, we’d love to hear from you.
