Job summary

Asahi Beverages in Welshpool, WA seeks a Machine Operator to operate and maintain production line equipment, perform quality testing, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires contributing to safety, quality, and asset care across shifts.

The successful candidate will have experience with FMCG production lines, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to coach teammates in a fast-paced environment. 12-hour shifts on a 24/5 roster are included.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating and maintaining production line equipment, ideally in FMCG.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to quality.
Confident communicator with the ability to coach and collaborate in a team.
Continuous improvement mindset with Lean Manufacturing exposure highly regarded.
Comfortable with computer systems for reporting and process management.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain beverage production line equipment, including size and flavour changes.
Monitor product quality, perform testing and calibration, and report findings.
Carry out daily cleaning, inspections and corrective maintenance to sustain efficiency.
Support preventative maintenance and periodic shutdowns to rebuild equipment.
Coach and guide team members to foster a culture of performance and improvement.
Champion safety, quality and asset care in all duties.
