Qualifications

• A relevant degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications in psychotherapy or behaviour support are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of behaviour management strategies and therapeutic techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and families.
• Proficiency in assessment and evaluation methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' behavioural and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including counselling and psychotherapy.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies, making adjustments as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behaviour management techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in behaviour support and psychotherapy.
