Job summary

The Humanity Health Group in Brisbane seeks a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner / Provisional Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred services to NDIS participants. You will support wellbeing, independence and autonomy while collaborating with clinicians for timely service delivery.

Applicants should have psychology qualifications and AHPRA registration, with BSP/NDS Commission eligibility, and a strong grounding in evidence-based behaviour support.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and AHPRA registration.
• BSP Registered Practitioner or eligible for NDIS Commission registration.
• Evidence-based behaviour support approaches knowledge.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Autonomous work ethic within a multidisciplinary team.
• Driver's licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Current Working with Children Check or state equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored behaviour support plans.
• Implement and review plans, adjusting as needed for best outcomes.
• Provide training and guidance to families, carers, and support staff.

About the Role

The Behaviour Support Practitioner / Provisional Psychologist plays a fundamental role as part of Humanity Health Group. You will join a passionate and dedicated multidisciplinary team of Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and NDIS Clinicians delivering high-quality, person-centred services to NDIS participants. You will support participants to achieve greater wellbeing, independence and autonomy while working collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored behaviour support plans
• Implement and review plans, adjusting as needed for best outcomes
• Provide training and guidance to families, carers, and support staff
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated care
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, NDIS compliance and professional practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay across best practice
• Contribute to providing efficient and timely services as required

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and AHPRA registration
• BSP Registered Practitioners or eligible to gain registration with the NDIS Commission.

• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
