Job summary

MOR. Healthcare is recruiting a Behaviour Support Practitioner for Ballarat in a clinic-based role with a genuinely manageable caseload. Work with community clients funded through NDIS, Aged Care and private funding.

There is real supervision on site and flexible terms (salaried or subcontractor) with professional development funded and encouraged. Ballarat is a real city with a supportive team and manageable workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, developmental education, behavioural science or similar.
• NDIS Commission suitability at any level, or eligibility and willingness to apply. Supervision will be provided.
• Current driver's licence and ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Functional behaviour assessments and writing/reviewing behaviour support plans.
• Train and coach support teams and work with families and stakeholders to reduce restrictive practices and improve quality of life.
• Work with both adult and paediatric clients across community settings.

Tired of doing behaviour support from the driver's seat?

Most BSP roles look the same. Long drives, back to back visits, notes written in a car park at 6pm, and a supervisor you email and hope to hear back from.

MOR. Healthcare is recruiting a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a well established allied health provider in Ballarat. It is a clinic based role with a genuinely manageable caseload, working with community clients funded through the NDIS, Aged Care and privately.

• A caseload you can do well. Deliberately manageable and largely self directed. Quality over volume is the operating principle here, not a line in a job ad.

What you will be doing

• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent. Psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, developmental education, behavioural science or similar.
• NDIS Commission suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, at any level, or eligibility and willingness to apply. Supervision for your application will be provided.
• A current driver's licence.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and Police Check, or the ability to obtain them.
