Job summary

Big Childcare is seeking enthusiastic Casual OSHC Educators to join our team at Yirrama Primary School, Charlemont, VIC. This role supports before and after school care and vacation programs, helping children enjoy safe, engaging activities.

You will supervise, lead games and crafts, assist with program planning, and ensure a positive environment while complying with policies. To succeed, show energy, reliability, and a valid Working With Children check.

Qualifications

• Valid Working With Children Check (VIC)
• Experience in OSHC or childcare (highly regarded)
• Currently studying towards or holding an ACECQA approved qualification
• Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts
• National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain
• Full Australian working rights
• Reliable transport to travel between Northern suburb services if required

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual OSHC Educators to join our team in the Yirrama Primary School.

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for children before school, after school and during vacation care programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and engaging children in fun, educational and recreational activities


• Leading games, sports, arts, crafts and cooking experiences


• Assisting with planning age-appropriate programs


• Setting up and packing down activities and food service areas
