Job summary

Kingswim, part of YMCA Victoria, is seeking motivated individuals to become Swim Teachers in Training. You will earn while you complete your qualification and gain practical experience in a supportive environment.

Flexible afternoon or weekend shifts fit study, family, or other commitments. You’ll work with a team that backs you, build confidence in children, and enjoy gym/pool access and mentoring throughout your development.

Child Safety & Inclusion

Kingswim and YMCA Victoria are committed to child safety and the wellbeing of children and young people. All applicants are required to undergo reference checks, a Working With Children Check, Criminal History Check, and completion of a Medical Declaration form prior to commencement.

From 19 October 2026, Victoria has introduced mandatory online child safety training for all Working with Children (WWC) Clearance holders through the Service Victoria. New application and renewal process will incorporate an approximately45 minutestraining (self-paced online course, with an offline paper-based version also available)
