Job summary

Kingswim, part of YMCA Victoria, is hiring a Swim Teacher in Training. You’ll be paid while you train and progress toward qualification, with flexible shifts that suit study or family commitments. Join a team that supports growth and makes learning to swim a meaningful, life-building experience.

Once qualified, you’ll earn $32.18 per hour with subsidised training and access to YMCA gym and pool facilities, plus mentoring and helpful benefits as you develop leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Great energy and reliability required.
• Basic swimming ability and comfort in the water.
• Love of working with children and providing a safe environment.
• Availability for one afternoon or weekend shift each week.
• Applicants must be 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming and help children build confidence and life skills.
• Work with the team to deliver positive learner experiences.
