Job summary

NSLHD in Mona Vale is seeking an Assistant In Nursing on a permanent full-time basis to support the nursing team and deliver high-quality care to patients at Mona Vale Hospital, in a beachside location.

You will contribute to a compassionate, patient-centred care environment and work closely with registered nurses to maintain high standards of clinical practice while respecting diverse communities in the Northern Sydney Local Health District.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or diploma deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
• Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Provision of support to the nursing team in order to deliver a high standard of care to NSLHD patients.
