Job summary

Endeavour Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for Alex Heads Hotel on the Sunshine Coast. This role supports the Publican, leads a team of hospitality staff, and ensures smooth, safe, and vibrant floor operations across dining, gaming, and bar services.

You will collaborate with peers in a multi-Assistant Manager model to drive standards, lead by example, and engage with locals and guests to deliver excellent service. RSA/RSG, RMLV, and Approved Managers licences are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring physical tasks (lifting/mmoving stock, deliveries).
• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming room is preferred.
• Must hold RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers licences as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely and with a great vibe.
• Lead a team of hospitality staff on shift and share responsibilities with other Assistant Managers.
• Oversee floor service during busy periods including dining, gaming and sports-bar operations.
• Address issues quickly to prevent disruption and maintain high standards.
• Represent the pub when the manager is away and maintain guest satisfaction.
