Job summary

Kiss The Barista Cafe in Sandringham, NSW is seeking an experienced Barista & Beverage All-Rounder for a busy beachfront café. You will primarily craft specialty coffee with latte art, and assist with smoothies and other beverages while delivering friendly service.

The role requires 2+ years’ café experience, ability to work 5:30 am starts, and reliable transport. Above-award pay and regular daytime hours are offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' recent café or barista experience.
• Confident producing quality coffee quickly and consistently.
• Experience making smoothies, juices and other cold beverages.
• Clear and confident spoken English for taking orders and assisting customers.
• Friendly, presentable and comfortable speaking with customers.
• Available on weekdays, particularly Fridays.
• Reliable transport for 5:30 am starts.
• Currently living within a reasonable travelling distance of Sandringham NSW.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Reliable, punctual and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee with latte art.
• Make smoothies, juices and other cold beverages.
• Take customer orders and provide friendly service.
• Maintain a clean and organised coffee station.
• Clear and clean tables when required.
• Assist the wider café team during busy periods.
