Job summary

Indigo People is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Height Safety and construction sector in the Blacktown area. You will drive new business, build relationships with commercial clients and work closely with Directors to shape growth strategy.

The role blends phone-based prospecting with face-to-face client engagement, with a supportive leadership team and opportunities for leadership progression within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales and new business development experience.
• Strong track record of building relationships and winning business.
• Experience prospecting and developing opportunities over the phone.
• Ability to build trusted relationships face-to-face with clients.
• A proactive, self-driven approach to business development.
• Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify new projects and opportunities through research and industry networks.
• Prospect and engage prospective clients by phone to generate opportunities.
• Develop new business across commercial construction and related markets.
• Build long-term relationships with builders, contractors and industry contacts.
• Follow up opportunities, proposals and active projects.
• Collaborate with internal team to deliver appropriate solutions for clients.
