Job summary

The bar Oakleigh is a brand-new startup venue launching this October in Oakleigh. We are seeking passionate, professional bartenders to join our founding front-of-house team for evening shifts.

Shifts run 5:00 PM–1:00 AM, Thursday to Sunday. Core roles offer 20–38 hours weekly; Weekend Support 14–20 hours. Be part of shaping a fresh club experience from day one and enjoy late-night allowances under the HIGA Award.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a fast-paced bar/pub/club environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, beer pouring, and POS systems.
• Punctual and trustworthy with reliable transport home after 1:00 AM.

We are a brand-new startup venue launching this October right in the heart of Oakleigh. We are building an energetic, fresh club experience from the ground up, and we are looking for passionate, professional bartenders to join our founding front-of-house team. Shifts run between 5:00 PM and 1:00 AM, Thursday to Sunday evenings. Core Team Positions offer approximately 20–38 hours per week across the weekend block. Weekend Support Positions offer approximately 14–20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

About you

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced bar, pub, or club environment

Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, beer pouring, and POS systems

Adaptable, positive mindset and excited to help a new venue grow

Punctual and trustworthy with reliable transport home after 1:00 AM
