Job summary

Ovolo Melbourne is seeking a talented Bartender to join our vibrant hotel team. This casual role offers room to grow and significant input into evolving our bar program.

You should have 1–2 years’ experience making high-quality coffee and beverages in a fast-paced setting; latte-art skills are a plus. You’ll attend guest orders, craft cocktails, serve beer and wine, and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience making and serving high-quality coffee and beverages in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in preparing light food items is a plus.
• Latte-art skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guest alcohol orders quickly and accurately.
• Showcase cocktail, beer, wine and spirit knowledge with flair.
• Collaborate with barista team and other sections as needed.
• Ensure drinks are prepared with correct measurements under Responsible Service rules.
• Engage guests and note preferences for future visits.
