Job summary

Margaret + Moore cafe at Perth Children's Hospital in Nedlands is seeking an experienced Barista/Counterhand who loves specialty coffee and high-quality service. You will handle espresso and batch brew recipes, showcase latte art, and deliver friendly, efficient customer interactions in a busy hospital cafe setting.

We roast our own coffee and offer in-house made fresh foods, with a focus on ethical sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Quality control on espresso equipment including La Marzocco PB ABR, Mythos grinders, Moccamaster and EK43.
• Prepare and serve espresso drinks and batch brews.
• Assist customers at the counter and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Support food prep and amenity items as needed while ensuring safety and hygiene.

Margaret + Moore is a busy cafe at the Perth Children's Hospital in Nedlands. We have a strong focus on specialty coffee with a range of in house made fresh and healthy food.

We’re looking for an experienced Barista/ Counterhand who is passionate about specialty coffee and excellent customer service.

You will be in charge of quality control on our La Marzocco PB ABR, Mythos grinders, Mocamaster and EK43.

Good latte art skills will be preferred and a passion for great coffee will be necessary.

It will help if you have experience working in fast paced environments and are naturally friendly.

We roast our own coffee and our food is a combination of freshly made, quality produce that has been locally and ethically sourced where possible.
