Job summary

Carrington Bowling Club is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our leadership team and run shifts independently within a registered club environment.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing service in a licensed venue, with current NSW RSA and RCG certs. Strong leadership, cash handling, and a calm, professional approach during busy periods are essential. Most shifts occur evenings and weekends, finishing by 11:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must have proven Bar Supervisor or Club Supervisor experience in a registered club or high-volume venue.
• Current NSW RSA and RCG certification is essential.
• Strong leadership and clear communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage compliance and operational procedures confidently.
• Ability to stay calm and professional during busy service periods.

Carrington Bowling Club is seeking an experienced and capable Bar Supervisor to join our leadership team.This role is suited to hospitality professionals who are already operating at Club Supervisor level and are confident running shifts independently within a registered club environment.We are not seeking entry-level supervisors.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing service in a licensed venue.

About the Role

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for:

• Leading, mentoring and directing bar staff
• Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG and club policies
• Cash handling, till reconciliation and end-of-night procedures
• Delivering consistent, high-quality customer service
• Maintaining venue presentation and operational standards
• Supporting a positive team culture
• Most shifts are evenings and weekends, with the majority finishing by 11:00pm.

About You

To be considered, you must have:

• • Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or Club Supervisor working within a registered club or similar high-volume licensed venue
• Current NSW RSA and RCG (essential)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Confidence managing compliance and operational procedures
• The ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods
• Availability across nights and weekends
