Job summary

Everglades Country Club is seeking a Club Services Supervisor to lead frontline staff across restaurants, bars, gaming and member services on a hands-on basis. You will work closely with management to ensure service standards and club procedures are followed, while supporting smooth daily operations.

The role requires supervisory experience in hospitality, strong customer service, and the ability to direct staff with a calm, practical leadership style.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a registered club, hotel, hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confidence supervising and directing staff.
• Hands-on, practical leadership approach.
• Ability to make decisions and resolve issues calmly.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting frontline staff during daily operations.
• Providing hands-on assistance across restaurant, bar, gaming and member service areas.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained.
• Allocating staff and coordinating breaks and operational requirements during shifts.
• Supporting Club Managers with day-to-day running of the Club.
• Ensuring staff follow Club policies, procedures and service standards.
• Monitoring presentation, cleanliness and readiness of operational areas.
• Assisting with cash handling, reconciliations and gaming-related procedures.
• Responding to member and guest enquiries and resolving service issues.
• Supporting the implementation of Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling requirements.

Job description

As a Club Services Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth operation of the Club during your shift. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, working with people and helping deliver a consistently high standard of service across a busy registered club environment. Working closely with the management team, you will assist with the day-to-day supervision of staff across restaurants, bars, gaming, and member service areas, while ensuring Club procedures, service standards and responsible service requirements are consistently maintained.

Key responsibilities

Supervising and supporting frontline staff during daily operations

Providing hands-on assistance across restaurant, bar, gaming and member service areas

Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained

Allocating staff and coordinating breaks and operational requirements during shifts

About you

Previous supervisory experience within a registered club, hotel, hospitality or similar environment

A strong understanding of the importance of following workplace policies and procedures

Experience in bar and gaming operations

Current NSW RSA and ARCG competencies

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
