Job summary

We rotate a two-day weekend pattern to support personal planning, offer staff meals and a substantial staff discount, and emphasise a collaborative, energetic workplace culture with a focus on growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor or FOH shift leader in hospitality.

What we do...

Here at Bahama Gold we believe in seasonality and simplicity.

The excitement of taking the best produce at the right time of year and turning it into something beautiful to enjoy. Provenance and sustainability are important to us and both are integral in our kitchen that is governed by a seasonal menu that changes weekly, drawing from the chefs next door at Old Palm Liquor as well as the Da Paolo pizza kitchen from inside the bar.

This philosophy also carries over to our wine list that leans into smaller growers and winemakers, as well as lo-fi and minimal intervention practices.

Our service is relaxed but polished in a bar that emphasises atmosphere and approachability and services a broad range of the Brunswick East community.

You don’t have to be a ready-made senior manager or wine expert to be considered for this role. If you’re experienced as a supervisor or front of house shift leader with a desire to learn management and are passionate about wine and food, we can teach you the rest if you’re willing to learn.
