Job summary

Coda Bar and Restaurant on Flinders Lane, Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our front-of-house team and oversee bar operations. You will craft and refresh the seasonal cocktail menu, help manage the wine and spirit list, and ensure exceptional guest service.

You will build strong supplier relationships, monitor costs and wage targets, train staff, engage with guests, and support floor during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining efficient service operating procedures for the bar
• Develop and update cocktail menu seasonally and assist with the wine & spirit list
• Maintain relationships with suppliers
• Meet financial objectives including financial analysis, cost of goods & wage targets
• Implement training programs for staff
• Engaging with customers and handling feedback
• Support the floor during busy periods and step in to assist floor staff
• Fulfilling additional tasks and projects as required by the Venue Manager

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Bar Manager and to assist lead our Coda front of house team.Asian inspired, Coda is an intimate and warm restaurant located on Melbourne's iconic Flinders Lane. Since opening in 2009, Coda has been awarded the Age Good Food Guide's Hat Award every year.
