Job summary

Altona Sports Club Incorporated is seeking a Bar - Gaming Supervisor in Altona, VIC 3018. This casual, part-time role involves supervising bar and gaming staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring compliance with liquor and gaming regulations.

The position offers flexible hours, roughly 30–35 hours per week, with weekends and no graveyards. You will coordinate staff, monitor gaming activities, handle cash, and contribute to the club's growth while gaining experience in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Experience in bar or gaming supervisory roles is preferred in hospitality
• 6–12 months experience in bar or gaming environments
• RSA certification required before starting
• Victorian Gaming Licence required
• Knowledge of liquor licensing and gaming regulations

We are seeking a Bar - Gaming Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Altona Sports Club in Altona, VIC 3018. As a casual Bar - Gaming Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bar and gaming areas. This position offers flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle with approx 30 -35 hrs per week including weekends, with no graveyards.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the bar and gaming staff to deliver exceptional customer service
• Monitoring gaming activities and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Handling cash and financial transactions accurately and securely
• Troubleshooting any issues that may arise and providing effective solutions
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the bar and gaming areas
• Assisting with the training and development of bar and gaming staff
• Actively contributing to the overall success and growth of the Altona Sports Club
• Gaming machine training is required for assisting with the operation of our gaming facilities
• System One experience preferred but not essential

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in a bar or gaming supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Minimum 6-12 months experience required in bar or gaming environments
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in cash handling and financial management
• Knowledge of relevant liquor licensing and gaming regulations
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification required before starting.
• Current Victorian Gaming Licence required
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude
