The Commercial Hotel in Kingaroy (Queensland) is seeking a friendly hospitality professional to join a busy venue. The role combines bar service with courtesy bus driving, delivering great customer experiences inside the venue and on the road.

About the Role

This position combines bar service and courtesy bus driving duties. You'll provide excellent customer service inside the venue while also ensuring patrons travel safely to and from the hotel.

No two shifts are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and engaging with people.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take food and beverage orders and process payments
• Provide table service and assist with food running when required
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock levels
• Support the team during busy service periods
• Operate the venue's courtesy bus on designated routes
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the courtesy bus
• Adhere to all venue policies, responsible service requirements, and road safety regulations
• Tuesday to Saturday role
• Up to 30 hours a week

What We're Looking For

• Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred
• Current RSA Certificate
• Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach

• Knowledge of local roads and safe driving practices is advantageous
