Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a friendly Banquets F&B Attendant for the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges. In this role you will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help ensure a seamless dining experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will collaborate with kitchen staff, manage seating and dietary requests, and maintain a clean, well-organised service area while working evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Fremantle, WA, Australia.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar food and beverage or hospitality role.
• Strong knowledge of menu items and ability to recommend food, wine and cocktails.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure and work well in a team.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, noting dietary requirements or special requests
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Regularly check in with guests, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including clearing and resetting tables
• Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
• Handle payments and process transactions accurately
• Upsell and promote specials, beverages, and additional menu items
• Accommodate guest requests and provide excellent service
• Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
