Job summary

Everi Pty is seeking a Full-Time Banquet Manager to lead the banquets, events and conferencing at Darwin Airport Resorts, Eaton, NT. The role partners with the Food and Beverage team and Conference Sales to deliver exceptional events on-site.

You will oversee setup, service delivery, staff supervision, and coordination with kitchen and planning teams to meet client requirements and deadlines. RSA and licensing compliance are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events to ensure seamless delivery.
• Lead, train and supervise banquet and F&B staff to maintain high service standards and team efficiency.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event planning teams to ensure client requirements and timelines are met.
• Familiarise yourself with BEOs to ensure customer expectations are met and an exceptional experience provided.
• Set up systems to protect and maintain control of food service equipment, recording breakages and carrying out regular stock takes.
• Set up and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for service areas to achieve high hygiene standards.
• Ensure staff are competent in menu, dietary and allergens knowledge; ensure some understanding of beverages.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, commenting on key performance indicators and actions to stay on target.
• Assist in recruiting, managing, training, developing and inspiring the banquets team.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
• Maintain currency of RSA certification and adhere to RSA principles.
• Oversee setup and reset of Conference & Function activities; communicate with Conference Sales Manager and Conference Coordinator to meet expectations of conference organisers.
• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Check meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and presentation.

We are on the lookout for a Full-Time Banquet Manager to take control over our Banquets, events and conferencing. Working on site at Darwin Airport Resorts, located at 2 Henry Wrigley Drive, Eaton, NT our new Banquets Manager will work closely with the Food and Beverage Team, the Conference and Events Sales Executive to take operational responsibilities for all conferencing, events and banquets within the hotel.

Your job duties will include:

• Coordinate and oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet events to ensure seamless delivery.
