Job summary

Kennedy Reid is seeking a Bank Teller to join its regional relief team, providing coverage across Blacktown, Windsor, Springwood and Richmond. This mobile position requires traveling between branches with full-time casual hours and comprehensive training provided in Blacktown.

You will deliver friendly service, process routine transactions, educate customers on digital options and connect clients with specialists as needed. Prior banking experience is valuable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Confidence handling cash and completing transactions accurately.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a customer-focused Bank Teller to join the regional relief team of a well-known Australian banking brand.

This is a mobile position providing essential coverage across branches in Blacktown, Windsor, Springwood and Richmond, with regular support required throughout the Blue Mountains region. You will work in different branch environments, assisting customers and supporting local teams during periods of increased demand or staff shortages.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys variety, builds rapport easily and is comfortable travelling between locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional and efficient service to customers
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other everyday banking transactions
• Accurately handle cash and balance transactions
• Assist customers with account enquiries and general banking needs
• Educate customers on digital and self-service banking options
• Identify opportunities to connect customers with appropriate banking specialists
• Follow banking procedures, privacy requirements and security controls
• Adapt quickly to different branch teams, customers and operating environments

About you

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Previous customer service experience gained within banking, retail, hospitality, contact centres or another fast-paced environment
• Confidence handling cash and completing transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping customers
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures
• A professional, reliable and adaptable approach
• Confidence working across multiple branch locations
• Full availability for full-time casual hours
• A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
• The willingness and ability to travel between Blacktown, Windsor, Springwood, Richmond and surrounding branches as required

Previous banking experience is advantageous but not essential.
