Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is seeking a dedicated phlebotomy practitioner to support primary care delivery in our Australian team. The role involves patient care assistance, phlebotomy procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records within established processes.

You will work closely with clinicians to support long-term conditions management and ensure data security and compliance with practice procedures. There are opportunities for growth in a scale-up primary care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy is essential.
• Able to follow procedures with strong data security and confidentiality.
• Good PC skills and ability to use Word/Excel and email effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient duties and supporting clinicians and Nurse Lead with patient care.
• Support Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensure compliance.
• Collect blood and prepare/assemble equipment for phlebotomy procedures.
• Update and maintain patient records accurately.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Assisting with patient duties as required and support other team members such as clinical and Nurse Lead with patient care.
• Supporting the Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring compliance is maintained.
• You will be working with patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes etc. So must have experience in Phlebotomy.
• Properly prepare and assemble the equipment to include tourniquets, needles, gauze cotton and disposal containers for needles
• Collect blood for testing.
• Update and maintain patient’s medical record.
