Job summary

Adecco is seeking workers for a on-site role in Dandenong South to assist with the recycling process of aluminium products. The job involves manual lifting, palletising bales, and moving pallets to containers for shipment.

A forklift licence and counterbalance forklift experience are preferred, with outdoor, team-based daily duties throughout the shift. Applicants should be reliable, willing to get dirty, and able to adhere to OH&S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have own reliable transport to get to site.

• Able to work outdoors in a busy waste/recycling environment.

Responsibilities

• Palettising bales of pressed recycled aluminium materials for the recycling process.
• Move completed pallets to containers for shipment.
• Perform continuous manual handling of 10–15 kg bales.
• Assist with loading/unloading and keep production areas clean and safe.
• Work as part of a team to clear loads dropped by trucks.

Job description

Our client is seeking new team menbers to join their team for their peak and busy season that is about to commence. They are seeking people capable of physical manual labour to assist with the recycling process of aluminium products - Role is located in Dandenong South.

About Us

Our client is Victoria's leading ferrous and non-ferrousrecycling business. With an aim to extract as much recyclablematerial as possible from waste to avoid landfill.

Responsibilities

• Working together in a team you will be responsible for palletising bales of pressed recycled aluminium materials for the recycling process. Moving completed pallets out of production area to be loaded into containers for shipment.
• This is a role that requires people capable of continuous manual lifting of 10 - 15kg bales of aluminium. You will get dirty and dusty, but you are rewarded with a competitive pay rate and down time in between the truck drops.
• You will be required to strap and move the completed palletsout of the production shed to the outdoor area to be loaded into the containersfor shipment.
• This is a very repetitive and physical role and requires youto work together in a team to clear the loads that are dropped at the site bytrucks for the recycling process
• You need to be prepared to get your hands dirtyin the process.

To be successful in the role you must have the following:

• Own vehicle to get to and from work each day
• proven reliability
• Not afraid to get a little dirty
• Ability to work outdoors
• Good time management and ability to work to dailyschedules
• Following strict OH&S policies and guidelines
• Ability to wok - Monday - Friday ongoing in acasual role
• capable of repetitive physical labour
• Current and valid forklift licence
• experience operating a counterbalance forklift
