Job summary

Brasserie Bread on the Gold Coast (Molendinar) is seeking reliable, experienced Packing Team Members to join our busy production team. This casual role suits someone who enjoys fast-paced work and can adapt to varying shifts across days and nights.

Previous experience in picking, packing or warehousing is essential, and accuracy and a positive, can-do attitude are valued. You will help ensure our freshly baked products are correctly packed, labelled and prepared for dispatch, with opportunities

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack a range of fresh bakery products.
• Sort, label and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Check quantities and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Prepare products for dispatch and handle packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.

Brasserie Bread | Molendinar, Gold Coast QLD | Casual

$33.05 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus applicable penalty rates

Brasserie Bread is looking for reliable, experienced and flexible Packing Team Members to join our growing production team.

Previous experience in picking, packing, warehousing or food manufacturing is essential. We are looking for candidates who can work across a variety of shifts, as our bakery operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

About the Role

Working within our busy packing department, you will help ensure our freshly baked products are accurately packed, labelled and prepared for dispatch to our customers.

This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced production environment and can adapt to changing operational requirements.

Shift times vary and may include mornings, afternoons and evenings, across weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing a range of fresh bakery products.

• Sorting, labelling and preparing customer orders.

• Checking product quantities and ensuring orders are accurate.

• Preparing products for dispatch.

• Handling and moving products and packaging materials.

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.

• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

• Working collaboratively with the wider production team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in picking, packing, warehousing or food manufacturing (essential).

• Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.

• Flexibility to work across different shift times, including mornings, afternoons and evenings.

• Availability across a 7 day operation, including weekends.

• The ability to accommodate changing roster requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good time management skills and a reliable, punctual approach to work.

• The physical capacity to undertake repetitive packing, standing and manual handling tasks.

• The ability to follow instructions and workplace procedures.

• A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Important: This role requires genuine flexibility across both days and shift times. Applicants who are only available for a particular shift or have limited availability across the week may not be suitable.

Hours & Pay

• Casual employment with the opportunity for regular shifts.

• $33.05 per hour, inclusive of casual loading, plus applicable penalty rates.

• Shifts may include mornings, afternoons and evenings.

• Work is available across weekdays and weekends, depending on operational requirements.

• Flexibility across varying shift times and days is essential.
