Drakes Supermarkets invites applications for a Bakery Assistant Manager at Fulham Gardens, SA. The role centers on leading bakery operations, ensuring fresh product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with team members and management to manage ordering, cost control and rostering, while supporting merchandising and safety standards across the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate fresh food retail knowledge on the floor and support team.
• Assist with ordering, cost control and gross profit to meet targets.
• Roster management and scheduling responsibilities may be required.
• Maintain a hands-on, proactive approach to supervision and mentoring.
• Liaise effectively with team members and management.
• Support merchandising initiatives and workplace health and safety standards.
