Menzies Aviation is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Baggage Services Agent at Brisbane International Airport. The role supports Passenger Services and helps airlines and passengers with baggage queries, delivering a seamless airport experience.

Responsibilities

Your new role

We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Baggage Services Agent to join our passionate team at Brisbane International Airport. The successful applicant will support the Passenger Services department and play a key role in delivering a seamless and positive airport experience by assisting both Customer Airlines and Passengers with their baggage queries.

Key responsibilities

• Handling customer airlines/passenger baggage queries
• Process baggage files in line with Menzies and Airline procedures
• Ensuring safe operating procedures are being followed
• Regular lifting of passenger baggage, up to 32kgs
• Prompt answering of phone calls and emails
• Updates to passengers awaiting missing luggage within prescribed timelines

About you

• Previous MHL/World tracer experience (desirable but not essential)
• A positive and professional attitude
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High level attention to detail
• Ability to work within a fast paced team environment
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision.
• Immaculate personal presentation
