Job summary

Camden Council is seeking an experienced plant operator to contribute to civil construction within the local government area. You will use backhoes and excavators to deliver and maintain infrastructure assets while adhering to WHS and EEO standards.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience operating backhoe or excavator with a licence equivalent to LB/LE Workcover.
• Demonstrated ability to apply WHS and EEO principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• OH&S General Induction for Construction Work Certificate.
• MR or HR Drivers licence and Traffic Control Certificate.
• Ability to operate plant and equipment for road construction/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe and/or excavator on civil works.
• Deliver and maintain infrastructure assets for the local government area.
• Follow WHS and EEO principles in daily operations.
• Collaborate with team to complete road construction/maintenance tasks.
