Saab Australia in Melbourne is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to defence and security technology projects. You will join a collaborative, mentor-driven engineering team and work on cutting-edge solutions across client-facing initiatives, delivering robust features and reliable services.

The role provides real-world exposure to Agile development, CI/CD, cloud tooling (AWS/Azure), and pathways to full-time employment based on performance.

Qualifikationen

• Must-have skills: TypeScript, React, Node.js, Git, RESTful APIs, Express.js, AWS.
• Preferred: Docker and GraphQL.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with senior engineers to write, test, and deploy code within CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Debug, refactor, and document code to improve performance and readability.
• Assist in integrating third-party APIs and configuring cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
• Present sprint deliverables and receive feedback to improve engineering practices.
