Precision Sourcing partners with a leading Australian organisation investing in modernising its technology platforms. We seek a Software Engineer to join a collaborative, high-performing team building scalable backend systems using C# and .NET.

You will design, develop and maintain backend apps, work with SQL databases, and contribute to API design, CI/CD and platform modernisation. The role offers the chance to work with talented engineers and grow capabilities in cloud and large-scale

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Strong backend development experience within enterprise or large-scale environments.
• Solid experience working with SQL databases and writing efficient queries.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and object-oriented principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within agile engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and enhance APIs and backend services that support critical business platforms.
• Work with SQL databases to develop, optimise and support data-driven applications.
• Contribute to system performance, scalability and reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD and modern software delivery processes.
