Job summary
Infosys is seeking a Test Analyst role in Web Applications in Sydney. You will lead transformative technology strategies and contribute to backend Java/J2EE development, RESTful services, and API micro-services within an Agile team.
The role requires 8+ years of experience with strong design, coding, and team leadership. Hybrid work arrangements apply, with a competitive AUD salary and internal processes guiding enhancements.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment (e.g. in a Scrum team) and team leading/guiding teams of size 6 to 8 on technology aspects
- SQL Serve DB background
- Nice to have delivery experience with APIs dev
- Knowledge of CI, CD (DevOps) tools
- Contribution in estimation process and review before submission to client (as applicable)
- Component Design including application of design patterns and generating design artefacts
- Design internal reviews (for team) and participating in Interface (external or internal BBT systems) design with Tech Leads
- Enhancements to existing application Framework (applying best industry practices)
- Proof of Concept (PoC) for critical components
- Guiding the development team for implementation, impact analysis and issue resolution
- Co-ordinating between different modules to identify and early resolution of issues – mainly from integration and interdependencies perspectives
- Performing code review to ensure quality – Secure code review, manual review for key/complex functionalities or components being developed. Rest all review would be automated using SONAR tool. Ensuring regular review process, guidelines and check-points against expected quality parameters
- Ensure adherence to Configuration/Version control strategy – to cater for multiple releases running in parallel
- Identify and implement Productivity improvement tools/re-usable components (Infosys internal or open source) – From development perspectives
- Encouraging Agile scrum teams for maintaining KM documentation, Best practices, Standards. Ensuring this with timely check-point reviews with scrum dev leads

- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
