Job summary

Busy Beaver Airport Parking in Melbourne is seeking a Back up Night Shift Officer for a permanent full-time role. You0Bll work 3 afternoon shifts and 2 night shifts weekly, moving between hands-on tasks and customer service.

The role involves lifting, driving larger vehicles, and preparing operations for the next day, within a supportive team. You will need a full Australian drivers license with accreditation, be available for weekends/public holidays, and be willing to obtain or renew checks

Qualifications

• Full Australian drivers license and Driver Accreditation required.
• Experience driving larger vehicles is a bonus.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Reliability and honesty – team players we can count on.
• Autonomy in your role but being part of a broader team.
• Deliver great face-to-face customer service; experience is a bonus.
• Availability across weekends and public holidays.
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one after interview).
• Driver Accreditation (or willingness to obtain one soon after employment).

Job description

We're on the lookout for a Full-Time Back up Night Shift Officer to join our team. This role is 3 X afternoons shifts, finishing the week with 2 X nightshifts. This is a permanent and stable Full-Time role. You'll do a little bit of everything, so expect your work shift to fly by. While the customers slow down during night shift, you'll prepare us for the following day. You will work alongside team members, but our night shift role is specialized and you're entrusted to get it done. This is no desk job, you'll be on the move.

Key responsibilities

• Work 3 afternoon shifts and 2 night shifts per week

• Assist with luggage, lifting up to 20kg
• Drive larger vehicles as part of the role
• Deliver face-to-face customer service

About you

• Full Australian driver's license and Driver Accreditation required
• Confident driving skills, with experience driving larger vehicles a bonus
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
• Reliability and honesty – team players we can count on
• Someone who likes autonomy in their role, but being part of a broader team
• Want to deliver great face-to-face customer service, with experience a bonus
• Availability across weekends and public holidays
• Current Police Check (or willingness to get one after interview)
• Driver Accreditation (or willingness to get one soon after employment)
• Great hourly rates: $28.00, rising to $29.45 after 3 months Afternoons; $31.00, rising to $33.00 after 3 months Nightshift; $33.04, rising to $40.00 after 3 months on public holidays
