What you will be doing in this role
As the Back Office Team Leader - Patient & Revenue Services, you'll lead a broad portfolio of services that play an important role in both the patient journey and the hospital's operational performance. This is an opportunity to join NSW's largest private hospital and oversee key functions across Patient & Revenue Services, including patient billing, debt management and several essential administrative support services.
Leading a team of approximately 40 staff, you'll provide day-to-day leadership across patient billing, Emergency Care administration, the Integrated Cancer Centre, Concierge, Switchboard and Mail Room services. Working closely with stakeholders across the hospital, you'll focus on building team capability, managing performance, supporting workforce planning and driving continuous improvement across multiple service areas.
Success in this role will be measured through key operational outcomes, including overtime management, customer feedback and debtor-related performance. Full training will be provided to support your success in the role. This permanent full-time position works 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Participation in an on-call roster every second weekend is required, with remote access available to support operational requirements when needed.
