Job summary

Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking a qualified B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for ongoing work in Adelaide, SA. You will perform heavy maintenance on E190 and/or Q400 aircraft, under CASA guidelines, with a Monday–Friday roster and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Preference for applicants already based in Australia or near CASA licence conversion completion. This permanent, full-time role supports ongoing heavy maintenance projects in Adelaide.

Qualifications

• CASA B1 licence with ongoing CASA conversion if overseas
• E190 or Q400 type rating mandatory
• Hands-on maintenance experience on rated aircraft
• Strong commitment to aviation safety and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work effectively within a maintenance team

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance within the scope of your B1 licence and authorisations
• Apply hands-on experience to E190 or Q400 aircraft type
• Support heavy maintenance activities per procedures and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for safe, compliant operations
• Maintain maintenance documentation and aviation safety standards
