Job summary

Qantas is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1 or B2) with an E190 endorsement to join Network Engineering at Perth Airport. You will deliver high‑quality maintenance and rectification work, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while supporting the introduction of the E190 fleet.

Based in Perth, this is a 24‑month fixed‑term role within Network Engineering where you’ll help induct and maintain E190 aircraft and contribute to the ongoing safe, efficient operation of the

Qualifications

• CASA Part 66 (B1 or B2) License with E190 endorsement (essential)
• Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain an Airside Driver’s Licence
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships across operational teams, stakeholders and customers
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, particularly in time-critical environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (desirable)
