Job summary
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is seeking a permanent, full-time B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Line) to join our Mount Isa team. You’ll perform scheduled maintenance and AOG defect rectification on Beechcraft King Air B200/B300, with a lifestyle-friendly roster and support from RFDS engineering network.
Based in Mount Isa, you’ll contribute to safe, compliant operations that keep essential medical missions airborne across rural Queensland.
Qualifications
- B1 LAME qualification and current license.
- Experience maintaining turboprop aircraft (Beechcraft King Air family).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance regulations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled line maintenance in line with ops.
- Troubleshoot and rectify defects during operations.
- Participate in local on-call roster when required.
- Provide ground support to crews and aircraft.
- Support third-party maintenance as needed.
- Inspect and rectify Ground Support Equipment.
