Job summary

Nighthawks Aviation, based in Cessnock, NSW, is seeking a CASA B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with strong experience on Allison RR250 engines. The role involves inspection, maintenance and repair across a range of helicopters with occasional interstate travel to support customers.

This full-time position requires the ability to work autonomously and in a team, with the option to apply Bell 429 experience. Base location in the Hunter Valley, Australia, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold a CASA B1.3 licence.
• Proven experience on Allison (Rolls-Royce 250) engines.
• Bell 429 experience advantageous.
• Background in both line and base maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team.
• Able to work in Australia and hold an ASIC.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair aircraft, ensuring regulatory and manufacturer compliance.
• Work on a range of aircraft with opportunities to travel interstate to support customers.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure quality workmanship.
