Job summary

Nighthawks Aviation, based in Cessnock, NSW, is seeking a CASA B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. You will inspect, maintain and repair helicopters, with occasional interstate travel to support customers and ensure compliance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.

The role offers full-time employment in a growing helicopter maintenance organisation, with opportunities to work on diverse aircraft types and to contribute to high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• CASA B1.3 licence is required.
• Proven experience on Allison (Rolls-Royce 250) engines.
• Bell 429 experience is advantageous.
• Background in both line and base maintenance.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Eligible to work in Australia and hold an ASIC.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair helicopters in accordance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.
• Perform inspections and repairs on a range of aircraft.
• Travel interstate to support customers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality procedures and applicable standards.

CASA B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Nighthawks Aviationis a growing helicopter maintenance organisation within Australia. Our primary base is located in Cessnock, NSW, with occasional travel required to support customers interstate.

We are seeking a CASA B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with strong experience on Allison (Rolls-Royce 250) engines. Experience on the Bell 429 airframe will be highly regarded.

The Role

This is a full-time position within our maintenance team. You will be responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer requirements. The role offers variety, working on a range of aircraft, with opportunities to travel for customer support as required.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a CASA B1.3 licence


• Have proven experience on Allison (Rolls-Royce 250) engines


• Bell 429 experience advantageous


• Background in both line and base maintenance


• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team


• Ability to work in Australia and hold an ASIC
