Job summary

Omni Executive Pty Ltd in Caloundra, QLD, is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join the Rotary Wing Maintenance Team. The role involves scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certifications, and AOG defect rectification for a broad customer base.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Base Engineer and contribute to safe, efficient maintenance in compliance with CASA requirements. Onsite, standard hours, with salary plus allowances and super.

Qualifications

• CASA B1.3 licence required.
• Australian citizenship required.
• Strong troubleshooting capability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Experience using Aerotrack, CAMP or similar aviation maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Based at Caloundra, join Omni’s Rotary Wing Maintenance Team to support our extensive customer base and their aircraft.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certification and AOG defect rectification.

What You Will Do

Based at Caloundra, you’ll join Omni’s Rotary Wing Maintenance Team to support our extensive customer base and their aircraft

Your work will include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certification and AOG defect rectification. You’ll report to the Senior Base Engineer and play a key role in delivering planned maintenance safely, efficiently, and in line with CASA requirements.

This role suits LAMEs who enjoy hands‑on engineering, autonomy, and working in a team that values safety and professionalism.

You Will Need

• CASA B1.3 Licence
• Australian Citizenship
• Strong troubleshooting capability and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Experience using Aerotrack, CAMP or similar aviation maintenance systems

Nice To Have, But Not Essential

• Type ratings and experience on Bell, Airbus and Kawasaki Turbine Helicopters
• Turbine Rotary or GA maintenance background
