Job summary

IBC Recruitment seeks an experienced SQL DBA to join an Enterprise environment in Sydney on a 3-month contract with potential extension.

You will own performance, availability, security and ongoing management of SQL Server environments, with a focus on Azure and a migration project to a single source of truth.

Ideal candidates will handle large datasets, ETL, data migration, complex queries, backup, recovery and monitoring, working independently to hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL Server DBA experience.
• Experience with Azure environments.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance, availability, security and ongoing management of SQL Server environments, especially in Azure.
• Lead data migration efforts to create a single source of truth.
