Job summary

Strategic Partners Australia seeks Senior Azure Platform Infrastructure Engineers (EL1) to design and implement cloud infrastructure for data and analytics workloads in Azure. The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, collaboration with stakeholders, and delivering advanced analytics capabilities including Databricks and AI operations.

The successful candidate will work on security-enabled architectures, integration with governance controls, and delivery for a Federal Government client in

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted platforms and services (Infra, Platform, SaaS).
• Experience implementing cloud infrastructure using IaC methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud security features: IAM, Networking, Policy.
• Experience in Data & Analytics projects (Data Eng, Storage, Data Science).
• Experience with Agile teams and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience with Data Lake
• Experience with Geospatial platforms

Responsibilities

• Design and implement detailed Azure-based infrastructure for data and analytics workloads.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver advanced analytics solutions.
• Support Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or similar analytical services in production.
• Lead MLOps/LLMOps activities and ensure scalable AI solutions.

List Of Roles:

Key duties and responsibilities

The roles will be responsible for the detailed solution design, development, and implementation of infrastructure in Azure in support of data and analytics workloads. These outcomes are delivered using an infrastructure as code deployment model using Terraform and the successful candidate with require experience with the following platforms and technology:

• Azure hosted Data and Analytics Platforms such as
• Logic Apps
• Azure security features such as
• Networking
• Identity and Access Management
• Policy
• Infrastructure as Code
• Terraform based infrastructure management
• Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements to design and implement Advanced Analytics and AI solutions.
• Experience in delivery and/or administration of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or other analytical services.
• Experience in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps).
• Delivery and or administration experience with traditional data technology solutions

Criteria

• 1.Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted platforms and services (Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service)
• 2.Experience developing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure using an infrastructure as code (IaC) approach
• 3.Understanding of cloud security features for platforms and services such as Identity and Access Management, Networking and Policy
• 4.Experience working in Data and Analytics focused projects (Data Engineering, Storage or Data Science)
• 5.Working with multi-disciplinary teams using an Agile methodology
