Job summary

Talent Corp seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract in Sydney. The role requires a current AGSVA NV1 security clearance and strong Azure experience. The position is hybrid, with three days per week in the Sydney office.

Key responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, IaC, deployment optimisation, and monitoring. Candidates must have 5+ years in DevOps/Platform roles and be able to work closely with development and operations teams to improve tooling and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar role.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, ARM, Bicep or similar.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• PowerShell, Bash or similar scripting skills.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimise build, release and deployment processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate environment provisioning.
• Support Azure cloud and containerised environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability.
• Implement security, compliance and governance controls.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and environment issues.
• Work closely with development and operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across DevOps tooling and automation.
