Job summary

Paxus in Brisbane is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team. This full-time permanent role focuses on building cloud platforms, automating processes and helping development teams deliver software faster, more reliably and securely.

You will work across development, infrastructure and delivery teams, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform/Bicep, and managing Microsoft Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps experience in cloud environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Proven ability to automate deployment and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage IaC using Terraform, Bicep or similar.
• Support and optimise Microsoft Azure environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and config.
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex infra and deployment issues.
