Job summary

Renaissance Infosystems Pte Ltd in Sydney, Australia is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production support. You will work with Windows Server, IIS, and networking, while managing SQL Server provisioning, authentication, backups, and automation tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills are essential.
• On-premises infrastructure support experience including Windows Server, IIS, networking, and certificates.
• Proficient in PowerShell and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Jenkins and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Chef cookbook and deployment troubleshooting experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration and SSMS.
• Provisioning, commissioning, and configuration of servers and databases.
• Management of Windows/SQL authentication, logins, users, and permissions.
• Backup and restore procedures and SQL Server Agent jobs.
• T-SQL scripting and troubleshooting database connectivity and failed jobs.
• Experience with ServiceNow Incident/Change/Release Management; Jira/Agile delivery; Bitbucket repository management.

Responsibilities

• Support integration connectivity, certificates, authentication, and infra issues.

• Manage SQL Server logins, users, roles, and permissions with least-privilege approach.
• Support database deployments, SQL Server Agent jobs, backups, and connectivity checks.
• Execute DR, rollback, and change management activities including recovery validation.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver project and release commitments.

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support application and infrastructure deployments across all environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and release activities.
• Perform environment validation, deployment verification, and production support.

• Support SQL Server instance and database provisioning, commissioning, configuration, and decommissioning in collaboration with DBA and infrastructure teams.

• Support database deployments, SQL Server Agent jobs, backup and restore activities, and database connectivity and performance troubleshooting.
• Execute DR, rollback, and change management activities, including database recovery validation.
