Job summary

XPT Software Australia is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement and manage DevOps on Microsoft Azure. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, IaC automation, and scalable deployment strategies for reliable software releases.

Collaborate with development, QA and operations, optimize release management, mentor junior engineers, and ensure cloud security and governance. Stay current with Azure DevOps tools, patterns and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong expertise with Azure DevOps including Pipelines, Boards, Repos, and Artifacts.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tooling and practices.
• Deep knowledge of cloud services on Microsoft Azure (App Services, VMs, Storage, AKS).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
• Solid networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, ELK).
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Required Skills And Qualifications
